Perioperative Nurse

Larissa has always felt passionate about helping others and making people feel good about themselves. Pursuing a career in nursing was a natural fit to leverage her love of learning with an innate drive to positively impact the lives of those around her. Larissa earned her two-year and four-year nursing degrees from St. Catherine University. Now, as one of our Perioperative Nurses, Larissa assists our patients with every aspect of their care before and after their procedure at Edina Plastic Surgery.

One of the things that Larissa is impressed most by at Edina Plastic Surgery is the amazing teamwork her co-workers display every day. She loves how helpful, warm, and welcoming the entire staff is to patients and each other. Larissa credits her team for helping her grow both personally and as a nurse. She believes that this type of culture in the workplace significantly benefits the staff and carries over into the level of personalized care we can deliver to our patients. Larissa feels proud to work in an environment that is so respectful, authentic, compassionate, professional, and FUN!

Larissa wants every patient she works with to feel exceptionally cared for and comfortable. She excels at going the extra mile to ensure someone has everything they need and has a smile on their face. Larissa appreciates that it is a great honor to play a role in helping someone achieve a higher level of confidence in how they look and feel, and she loves being a part of that journey.

Outside of work, Larissa can be found enjoying the outdoors with family and friends. She practices what she preaches and loves all kinds of exercise to help maintain her health and enhance her life. Mostly, Larissa is passionate about spending time with her husband and two children and creating memories that will last a lifetime!
