Certified Medical Assistant

Amber can’t remember a time in her life when she was not concerned about the welfare of those around her or when she did not feel the drive to take care of people. She truly believes that caring for others is what she was meant to do in life. It’s no wonder that Amber’s “passion for compassion” intuitively led her to the nursing field. She became a Certified Medical Assistant in 1999 and began her career in Family Practice medicine. Having always been interested in the life-changing surgeries associated with the Plastic Surgery specialty, Amber transitioned into this field in 2010. She felt and continues to feel strongly about supporting patients as they go through their journey of transforming their lives with cosmetic or reconstructive surgery.

As someone who firmly believes in the power and strength of family, Amber loves that her Edina Plastic Surgery team truly feels and operates like a work family.  Each day she witnesses our entire staff come together to create the best possible experience for each of our patients. Amber is proud to work with surgeons and within a culture that prioritizes what is best for the patient and their results above all else. She also feels honored to care for and support people who have made the pivotal decision to have plastic surgery. Amber wants each of our patients to feel unbelievably cared for and excited about their results when they leave our practice.

Being a mom to four wonderful children herself, Amber can empathize with the busy lives of our patients! Although her twins keep her on her toes, she has also seen how a busy family life has strengthened her ability to prioritize and structure her overall life and keep her focus on what’s important. When she isn’t caring for patients at Edina Plastic Surgery, you can find Amber and her family enjoying the outside. They are avid water and snow skiers and wakeboarders and love the Minnesota outdoors!
