This 50-year-old patient came in for a consultation with Dr. Leigh to discuss surgical facial rejuvenation options. The main areas that bothered her were her sagging eyes and her jowl and neck region. After discussing all options, she decided to undergo a facelift and eyelid lift. A face lift procedure is designed to improve the shape and youthfulness of your face by addressing the lower 2/3 of the face, and an eyelid lift (or blepharoplasty) removes excess skin to make the eyes appear more open and bright. Dr. Leigh repositioned and removed excess skin and tightened her platysma muscles, and removed excess skin on her eyelids. Her after photos showcase smoothing and tightening of the neckline, tightening of the jawline and an overall lift to the lower face, as well as smoothing of wrinkles! Her eyes look more bright and youthful as well. She is very pleased with her results!
