Who is a Good Candidate for Avéli™ Cellulite Reduction?

*Aveli™ is not indicated for cellulite on the front (anterior) of the thighs.
Some contraindications to treatment may impact whether or not our plastic surgeons recommend Avéli™, including:
- Coagulant blood disorders
- Currently on an anticoagulant medication
- Diabetes
- Pregnancy
- A recent surgery within 6 weeks
- Severe anemia
- Skin infections / open lesions / tumors
- Uncontrolled hypertension
- Varicose veins in the treatment area

Recovery After Avéli™ Cellulite Reduction
A typical Avéli™ procedure takes about an hour to perform, including local anesthesia and the procedure itself. It can be performed as a stand-alone procedure or added on to another planned surgery, like tummy tuck, breast augmentation, or liposuction. The exact timing will vary depending on the personalized procedure plan your plastic surgeon recommends, which factors in how many depressions, or dimples are present and will be addressed during your treatment. All targeted cellulite dimples on both the buttocks and thighs can be treated in a single session.
After your Avéli™ procedure, you can expect to return to your normal activities within 24-48 hours. While some mild discomfort and bruising may occur, these are temporary and part of the healing process. We recommend avoiding strenuous activities or workouts in the first two weeks after your procedure to allow the treated areas to heal. Your recovery will be extended if other surgical procedures were performed with Avéli™.
