Michele F.

Perioperative Nurse

Michele has had an inherent drive to help and care for others since she was very young. This passion has steered the course of her life and her incredibly diverse healthcare career, which includes having been a combat medic in the Army National Guard and a certified EMT! Michele’s wealth of knowledge and experience make her a tremendous asset to the Perioperative Care team at Edina Plastic Surgery.

After receiving her Associate and Bachelor degrees in Nursing from St. Catherine’s University in St. Paul, Michele obtained additional certifications as a Public Health Nurse and a Licensed School Nurse.

Her deep appreciation for education is evident in how she cares for her patients. She makes it clear that they are her number one priority and that she will take as much time as they need to explain every detail of their care to ensure they feel confident about their procedure.

Michele believes that plastic surgery can change a patient’s life. When someone feels confident about their appearance, that elevated self-esteem transcends into every aspect of their life, and they carry themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally stronger. She feels honored to be a part of each patient’s journey through this process and excited to be a part of a team that embraces the same values and standards for exceptional patient care. Michele wants her patients to feel comfortable, valued, and heard and to know that their happiness and health are her true inspiration!

Outside of work, Michele loves nothing more than spending quality time with her family. She has two adventurous young boys and an energetic Goldendoodle that keep her house brimming with life and excitement. Michele adores summers in Minnesota and can usually be found attending a live music event or relaxing by the lake with a good book. Each day, she strives to lead a life full of laughter and love and spread that positivity to those around her.
